AMT Participates in the National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining Study Group

Export, PA, March 12, 2009 — AMT recently hosted the 2009 National Defense University's Industrial College of the Armed Forces for a tour of our manufacturing facility. The ICAF students were conducting a Manufacturing Industry Study on “Can the U.S. Maintain Competitive Preeminence, Lead Innovation and Create High Value-Added Manufacturing jobs in a Globalized Economy?”

AMT was delighted to host the tour, as well as attend the National Center for Defense Manufacturing & Machining Seminar where Buck Helfferich, President, was one of seven panelists representing small businesses in this area. AMT had the pleasure to interact with other small business owners, CEOs, Military and Government personnel in an effort to expose our company to potential new opportunities.

AMT feels very privileged to have had this opportunity through our alliance with the National Center for Defense Manufacturing & Machining located at Kennametal in Latrobe, PA. We look forward to being a part of this annual NCDMM event.
